BBQ Chicken Pineapple Sandwiches
Maybe it’s the warmer weather or maybe it’s our new pineapple swaddle blankets but we can’t get these BBQ Chicken Pineapple sandwiches out of our heads. They are so easy to whip up after a busy summer day! What you’ll need: 2 cans canned chicken 1 can fresh diced pineapple ½ cup – cup BBQ sauce of choice Salt & pepper to taste 4 (1.5-ounce) whole wheat hamburger buns, toasted Light mayonnaise (optional) Basil leaves (optional) Instructions:

Open & drain canned chicken. Add BBQ sauce & can of pineapple to chicken.

Throw in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.

Spread mayonnaise on (toasted!) bottom halves of buns. Top each with chicken & pineapple, 1 basil leaf, and 1 bun top. *You can also add red onion and/or bacon!
