Typically a weighted blanket should be around 10%-12% of your body weight plus a pound or two.

An extra-large weighted blanket measures 60” x 80” and with cover and insert weighs approximately 20lbs (12lb insert) and 23lbs (15lb insert). A great option for teens and adults. Not recommended for children.
